Yes it is true. The rumor that Purdy's Scrapbook Place is closing has been floating around all month. Well there is a reason for that, we are closing the store at the end of Jan. We are very sad about this, but we are excited at the same time. I have always stated that I have the best customers, that is not just a business statement it is a true statement from my heart. However as much as I enjoy and love my customers (my friends) I love and want to enjoy my family a bit more. I will be getting a new grand baby in May, Deseree has moved to Denver and Sam will be finishing his mission in October. Joe is a junior and I have hardly been to any of his lacrosse games. I feel like it is time to be a wife, mother and grandmother first and foremost. So something had to give so that was the store. I will stay in the scrapbook industry as I will be sales rep for all of upstate NY in scrapbook and gifts. I will still continue to do commission work and will still be able to make special orders for you. Keep in touch through email, blog, or website.
