Utah

Hey so many of you have wanted to here about my trip( at least that's what you say) that I thought I would share a bit with you. 1st off we were 4hours delayed out of Syracuse because of weather in JFK. Then we had another 3 hours in JFK so by time we got to Utah it was 3am mountain time. We did see some interesting people in JFK, I took pictures for Sam, but I don't think you'd appreciate them as Sam does.
We had a great time with our sweet little Marissa, she is hilarious. She definitely knows her own mind.
My brother lives in northern Utah about 2.5 hours from my son's family. On Saturday my brother and his wife flew down to see us in their private plane. Then he took us all for a ride around the area. Except Marissa who did not want anything to do with the plane.
Check out those mountains. The Subdivision on the right is where Thomas lives. The big white building in the center is a super Wal-mart and the white building on the left is Provo Craft.
I of course spent a day at the Provo Craft warehouse. Come in and see the new things that I got.
Jeff and I went up to Ogden and dropped some things off at the Mission Home for Sam, No we didn't get to see him. That's against the rules and Sam is all about being obedient. I guess that's a good thing. We did stop and take a picture of the place that we got married 28 years ago. Wow time flies when your ... alive. We did get to talk to Sam on Mother's day for about an hour. He is doing well. He said, That he loves to hear form all of you. I did see all of my living siblings and the in-laws, but most importantly we got to spend some good time with our son, his wife and our granddaughter.
Thanks for sharing my trip.

National Scrapbook Day Crop

Wow We had such a great time at the NSD crop. Cate was the 1st one here again at about 10 after 6am and of course won a prize for that. We had a nice continental breakfast of fruit, juice, bagels and raisin bread. Each participant received a basket of goodies donated by local businesses. We had a fun project for everyone. Flip flops to decorate with ribbon, Even Chuck decorated his. We played several games throughout the day (with prizes of course). Lunch consisted of sweet Chicken Salad Croissants and fruit. Since it was such a nice day for dinner we grilled Hamburgers and Hoffman hot dogs out in the parking lot with chips, dip and veggies. Everyone seemed to get a lot accomplished. We wrapped things up about 10:30pm. Over all it was a great day. I am sure we will do this again soon. I will keep you posted.
